Arenal Volcano National Park

This tour begins with a hike through Los Tucanes trails in the National Park. For an hour and a half you'll can see a huge variety of plants and animals; the beauty lake and the majestic volcano will charm you at sunset. You'll get a lot of information of the volcano and National Park from our specialized guides!

El Silencio Biological Reserve

Thanks this hike you'll have the opportunity of seeing the wonders of the tropical forest and the beauty of the majestic volcano all together! The hike of one hour and a half gives us the change to spot many species of mammals and birds and if we're lucky, we can see the lava flowing. The tour ends with a refreshing beverage.

Celeste River Hike

Once you start this hike, you'll be face to face to the beauties of the rain forest like great landscapes and interesting species of flora and fauna. The natural trail will take us till a place called "Los Teñideros" where Buena Vista and Roble Rivers get together to produce the awesome Celeste River. If you want to meet a real natural treasure, you'll have to hike a little bit more, but this worth it! At the end of the trail you're going to find a impressive blue-light waterfall. You'll taste a delicious typical lunch in the reception of the park.

Horseback Ride to the Waterfall

After a little practice on the horse, you're going to feel the emotion of ride a horse through creeks and plains. After an hour on the horse, we'll arrive to the entrance of the waterfall, from there; wait for us 480 stairs approximately to get to the bottom of the waterfall. Once there, you'll be able to swim and take pictures of the surroundings or just take a sit and appreciate the beautiful waterfall for a while. Now is time to come back to our horses and return to our hotels.

Horseback Ride to the volcano

After a little practice, you start with course toward the majestic Arenal Volcano. You'll ride through lowlands, creeks and primary and secondary forest for about one hour and a half; then we'll make a stop to relax and admire the beautiful landscapes. In the tour we'll see great flora and fauna own of this place; as well as lava flows from many years ago.

Arenal Hanging Bridges

Enjoy a walk of two miles (3.1 km) on the top of the trees admiring the wonders that the Rain Forest gives us. They are 15 hanging bridges ranging from 16 to 330 feet tall. You'll spot many species of mammals, birds, orchids and much more with a fantastic view of the volcano!

Venado Caves

Located just 45 minutes from La Fortuna downtown are the Venado Caves, a great place where darkness hides a wonderful unknown world. This tour looks for people who doesn't matter get completely wet and dirty, because in the middle of the caves runs an underground river that we must pass through to have the chance of spot many species of marine fossils, bats, spiders, crickets and much more interested animals; we'll also have the chance to admire the majestic "Papaya" a rock that seems a real papaya fruit.

Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge

Cano Negro is one of the more impressive sites in Costa Rica to spot aquatic birds. Do you imagine seeing a huge variety of species of birds, lizards, sloths, turtles and caimans, all in the same place? This one-day tour begins early in the morning picking you up right in your hotel to start together a wonderfull trip to Los Chiles, near the limit with Nicaragua. After an hour and a half of driving, we´ll stop and we are going to deal a boat which we'll take us towards the depths of this "cano negro" filled of marvelous nature. Just to nature lovers!!!

Monteverde by Jeep-Boat-Jeep

This is an excellent option if you want to go to Monteverde from La Fortuna but wouldn't like to spend all day driving; otherwise, you look for beautiful landscapes and adventure at the same time. You're going to spend about a half hour from your hotel till Arenal Lake, then you'll get in a boat for about 30 minutes more in order to pass through the lake till Rio Chiquito; and finally 1.5 hours on a 4x4 car or minivan driving to your hotel in Monteverde.

Cerro Chato Hike

This tour begins at the Observatorio Lodge, where through dense humid forest, we are going to hike up till Cerro Chato's summit. Once there we'll have the chance to swim in a exuberant lake 1km2 long, take pictures or just admire the wonderful landscapes. After a while there, we must continue; we're going to go down on a natural pathway towards La Fortuna waterfall, right there we can see the great fall of 65 m. high, swim or takes your best pictures of this paradise. After that, it's time to go to your hotel.

AMA Canopy Tour

Be ready to live a unique experience filled with adrenaline and nature! After a comprehensive explanation of how to use the equipment, tractor takes you up to the viewpoint of the Pino Blanco Waterfall. The specialized guides will put you in the harness and will give you all the stuff you need to begin a walk up through the tropical rain forest to the first platform. Ecoglide Canopy Tour

Let's know the tropical forest of Costa Rica in one hour and a half flying from tree to tree. In this tour you'll enjoy 10 cables and the longest cable is about 430m! In the middle of the tour, the platform for the Tarzan Swing appears in front of us; this is a kind of free fall but then you´ll swing between the trees for a couple of times. Just amazing!
